Job Description:

This highly visible position is responsible for developing relationships with our channel partners to meet and exceed sales goals.  The Solution Specialist will provide the training and support to carrier representatives necessary to sell our solution based concept to businesses within the territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Master all products and applications.
  • Travel within assigned territory to call on carriers including overnight travel.
  • Build consultative relationships with carrier representatives. Maintain positive working relationships with Regional Sales Managers.
  • Maintain active, in-person presence with carrier representatives.
  • Present new product features and benefits to carrier representatives.
  • Service carriers within the assigned territory by both responding promptly to requests and by initiating customer service and training.
  • Actively utilize the Xora application to manage their day-to-day activities.
  • Maintain required activity level – following established guidelines for number of calls / day, # products presented /carrier, and # contacts/carrier.
  • Demonstrate the Xora solution to carrier representatives in the territory while tracking sales opportunities within the SFDC.com customer relationship management system.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and on carrier reaction to our solution as well as to our competitors.
  • Communicate carrier specific reward programs to incent sales.
  • Submit required data and reports on a timely basis.
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, training programs, conventions, and trade shows as directed.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Results-oriented individual able to establish own priorities in an unstructured environment.
  • Organized, highly self-managed and self-starting.
  • Creative and strategic thinker with strong presentation skills.
  • Strong sales and account management skills.
  • Proven ability to build and develop relationships with business partners.
  • Strong knowledge of technology and how to apply technology to solve customers’ business needs.

Desired Skills

  • Intermediate skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Basic skill level in SFDC.com or other CRM experience desired (navigating views, entering information, pulling reports, etc)
